'Hollywood' has fans shipping Rock and Archie hard, calling them the 'power couple of 2020'
Netflix's 'Hollywood' starring Jeremy Pope as Archie Coleman and Jake Picking as Rock Hudson has fans shipping the two characters' relationship in the show that just dropped. The guy who is trying to break in as an actor and the other guy who is trying to be the first successful Black writer in Hollywood. The two meet when Archie is turning tricks for some money, pumping gas (trade talk for sex) in Ernie's gas station. The show sees the two of them begin as nothing and over the episodes, they get closer to each other and fight jealousy over other men while trying to get a foot into an industry as glamorous as Hollywood.
Archie's script is picked by Ace Studios while they are unaware that he is a Black man. So despite it being picked, the ax is still hanging over his head. Meanwhile, Rock finds a great manager Henry Wilson (Jim Parsons) but he also happens to be an abusive guy who thinks he knows best. His male clients are forced to let him "suck them off" and Rock goes through the same routine as well.
Somehow, Rock manages to put up with Henry until he gets a small role in the film written by none other than Archie. This young couple's journey in the show is quite sweet and optimistic considering the time that the show was set in but fans love everything about this.

One fan pointed out a scene where Rock asks Archie if they were boyfriends along with a GIF about how lovely this scene was. There is also a beautiful proposal scene in the show towards the end when Archie officially asks Rock out and it is all quite warm and cuddly.
