The imminent release of 'Hogwarts Legacy' on consoles from the previous generation will provide players access to a number of in-game cosmetic accessories for their character. This applies to both the previously released Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set and the Merlin's Cloak.

Both will be made available through Twitch Drops but in order to access them, users must watch livestreams for a predetermined amount of time. Prior to the inaugural 'Hogwarts Legacy' rollout on February 7 and 10, 2023, participants may claim Merlin's Cloak.

How to get Professor Ronen cosmetic set

From May 5 through June 1, the Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set will be a Twitch Drop. To get rewards, players must spend at least 30 minutes watching a streamer play the game. According to the official statement, Potterheads would have to watch 30 minutes for each award.

To be eligible to obtain the aforementioned benefits, players' Twitch accounts must have Twitch Drops activated. Once they have satisfied the requirements, the item will be available for claim in their Twitch inventory. Players will then need to link their Twitch accounts to the WB Games profiles they use to play 'Hogwarts Legacy'.

What are the rewards?

Charms Professor Spectacles, Charms Professor Gloves, Charms Professor Outfit, Charms Professor Robe, Charms Professor Tasselled Kufi and Charms Professor Scarf are the rewards for the Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set.

Players get a second chance to obtain the cosmetic item known as Merlin's Cloak, as was previously indicated. They must accomplish this while playing 'Hogwarts Legacy' by tuning into the Legacy Live stream on the official WB Games Avalanche Twitch channel. To be eligible to get the item, they must watch the stream for at least 20 minutes.

Controversy

Due to its connection to JK Rowling, the author of the Potterverse, the game has been in hot water ever since it was first announced back in 2020. The game was either being played or boycotted on the internet.

The former organization claimed that it gave the contentious author the cultural capital to further her unsettling opinions. The latter group aimed to enjoy what the developers had put so much effort into while separating the art from the creator.
