During his most recent stream, Twitch streamer HasanAbi targeted Kick streamer Adin Ross after discovering that Ross had wrongfully claimed copyright against another YouTuber, costing them thousands of dollars in revenue. HasanAbi said that he will personally pay for any legal action brought against Ross. It is the most recent dispute in a series of indirect conflicts between the two broadcasters.

The two have a history of fighting over streaming content. In order to prevent content like full, feature-length movies from being uploaded to the network, YouTube has a number of processes in place to make sure that content is not violating copyright rules.

 Will HasanAbi sue Adin Ross?

The basis of Hasan's most recent complaint against Ross is a video in which the Kick streamer boasts about robbing another streamer, popularly known as Internet Anarchist, for using a portion of his video in Sneako and MoistCr1TiKaL (YouTubers) related video.

Hasan, who is known for rarely pursuing copyright strikes when others use video from his stream for entertainment, was outraged by what Adin was trying to accomplish by claiming any videos that even briefly mentioned his name or used images and video from Hassan's feed.

A streamer took it to Twitter and wrote, "Adin Ross celebrating his false claims on my content. YouTube needs to do something to stop people like this from opening abusing the system to bully smaller creators."

He added, "He also claims I am Hasan's head moderator, I have no idea where he got that from."

Hasan has also had disagreements with others regarding Ross and his recent argument with streamer 'Trainwreckstv' gained a lot of attention online.

YouTube's copyright rules

YouTube's copyright regulation reads, "Creators should only upload videos that they have made or that they're authorized to use. That means they should not upload videos they didn't make, or use content in their videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations."

YouTube even has some copyright exceptions. Copyright exceptions are laws that allow people to reuse someone else's copyright-protected material without their permission, such as fair use in the US. YouTube encourages rightsholders to consider the applicability of copyright exceptions before submitting copyright removal requests, according to YouTube policies.
