'Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020' Part 3: Hana and Kai are finally together and mesmerized fans can't keep calm
Kai Kobayashi is the newest member to enter 'Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020' Part 3. The 25-year-old, half-American half-Japanese, aspiring comedian surely did make a great impression when he entered the house bearing gifts for his fellow housemates. His good looks coupled with a masculine voice made him a hit with the audiences.
"IT'S OFFICIAL. This guy kai kobayashi is my new bias in terrace house," wrote a fan. Another tweeted, "Oh Kai Kobayashi! I love you already."
"Kai Kobayashi is such a snack," wrote another fan. The girls were going gaga over his "sensual" voice at the Terrace House too.
If you have finished watching Part 3, you would agree that Kai is a gentleman. He is kind, he is patient, he is artistic too. Remember the pottery class he took with Vivi? He made it so much fun. Throughout the season, we saw Hana Kimura heartbroken and in tears over Ryo. It was Kai who stepped in to lend her a shoulder to cry on. He heard her out with an immense amount of patience and also did his best to help Hana snap out of her sadness. He didn't have to though. There was absolutely no need for him to do that but he still did it. He showered Hana with many compliments and it's commendable that he did it without patronizing her, a feat that's quite rare.
He did develop a liking towards Hana but he did not force it on her and allowed her to recover from her heartbreak. Until then, he continued being a friend and did everything he could to make her smile. He also took her out to the indoor trampoline park which looked really fun and Hana genuinely looked happy after a long time on this season.
His interactions with Hana in the playroom were so mesmerizing to watch. Just him sitting there, helping boost Hana's confidence and making her believe that everything is alright and all's not lost if someone she likes didn't like her back. It was a delight when Hana finally got off the Ryo train and realized that she likes Kai too and the internet cheered the loudest when that happened.
