Hallmark brings the best of romcoms and 'A Royal Runaway Romance' is indeed a great film to watch. After all, who doesn't enjoy watching romantic comedies featuring royalty? Well, this movie will make you fall in love with America.

'A Royal Runaway Romance' revolves around Princess Amelia of Bundbury (Philippa Northeast) who prepares to succeed her mother Ava (Sarah Jane Redmond) as Queen in a year. She falls for Wes (Andre Anthony), the American artist commissioned to create her royal portrait. The Queen, however, makes it clear that Wes isn't the appropriate fit for Amelia, so when the artist returns to Chicago, Amelia comes up with another excuse to visit the United States: her Uncle Andreas' (Vincent Gale) forthcoming birthday. It's the ideal strategy... Except Andreas' Beverly Hills house is too far away from Chicago for Wes to meet her.

Her mother insists on accompanying her on her trip and confiscates her passport, making a swift flight to Chicago difficult. The biggest challenge, however, comes when Amelia discovers that Andreas' trusty bodyguard, Grady (Brant Daugherty), has been ordered to accompany her at all times. Amelia, undeterred by the fact that she wants to visit Wes, decides to steal Grady's car and travel to Chicago. When Amelia's attractive bodyguard discovers her intentions and informs her uncle, Andreas agrees to help her on one condition: Grady must accompany her. America-obsessed Amelia gets the cross-country journey of a lifetime with Grady in Andreas' vintage car – and possibly her final chance to be free before taking on the responsibilities of Queen.

'A Royal Runaway Romance' (Hallmark)

The first look shared between Grady and Amelia started with banter in the story. Their journey, however, was quite an adventure I believe, as they stopped at places and explored the cities in between. By the time they all were at Nebraska Grady's home, both Grady and amelia were in love.

Indeed, the movie begins with a similar vibe to a royal film, in which the royals should not marry someone who is not a royal. However, the film has a lovely storyline, and it's incredibly entertaining to watch Amelia and Grady banter throughout the film. If you enjoy romantic comedies, 'A Royal Runaway Romance' should be on your watch list. Grady drops Amelia off in Chicago, but did she truly go with Wes once she realized she loved Gardy? You'll have to watch the movie to find that out.
