Gynecologist reveals horrific discovery made inside vagina of terrified patient
TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS: Honduran gynecologist Dr Marco Cálix was taken aback when he discovered a strange object in one of his patients' vagina. Cálix, who is something of a "doc star" in the online gynecology community, recently shared an unexpected incident at work with his followers
Dr Cálix, an ob-gyn in Tegucigalpa, stated, "She said she had something unusual in her vagina," according to New York Post. Cálix frequently shares his most exceptional or concerning scenarios with his more than 386,000 followers on TikTok, where his posts have received 1.2 million likes. He revealed that a recent appointment, however, "took things to a whole other level." The gynecologist described the anonymous patient as coming to his clinic "extremely restless, agitated, and sweaty" from a rural area of the country.

'I could see that it was an insect'
A closer look showed the startling cause of the woman's suffering. The horrified gynecologist exclaimed, "When I introduced the speculum, I could see that it was an insect. In fact, I had to take out something like a cockroach." The seasoned doctor had previously found everything from condoms to sex toys inside female reproductive systems, so this was a first.
Fortunately, Cálix able to remove the creature because putting an object within the vagina for an extended period of time might result in infections, tissue damage, and other problems. He did not say whether the patient was hurt or needed medical attention after the traumatic experience. It is still unknown how the cucaracha, which was allegedly dead before he removed it.
What signs indicate poor vaginal health?
Medical professionals advise patients to be alert for unusual symptoms, such as smelly discharge, bleeding, swelling or rashes. The Orkin Exterminators website states that cockroaches can "flatten their bodies to fit into narrow areas" and "tend to prefer dark, moist places to hide and breed."
