A horrifying video shows a groom slapping his bride while the newly married couple was still on stage. Apparently, he lost to his wife in an unspecified game and expressed his anger through a slap. This wedding ceremony was held in Uzbekistan and a comment from the law enforcement agencies is awaited.

The bride looked gorgeous in a white, glittery gown while her hair was slicked back in a simple bun. The short-tempered groom was dressed in a suit and had a glittery purple tie that added an element of bling.

The newly betrothed couple was on the stage as the toastmaker involved them in a jolly competitive game. A task was assigned to the couple and was instructed to raise their hand once the task was completed. The bride completed her assigned task before her groom and quickly raised her hand. The lady standing next to the bride was joyous when she realized the bride won the task.

However, the groom's reaction was completely the opposite. Upon completing his task, he half-heartedly raised his arm indicating he too had completed the task. But then the horrific behavior followed. He smacked his bride across the face.

The shaken bride was almost about to fall to the side when the lady next to her held her in order to prevent the fall. The bride was then escorted off the stage by the bridesmaids.

All this while, the groom had his smug, stony face on and he pretended like nothing major happened. When he slapped his new wife, the man who was standing next to the groom let out a sympathetic smile and took his phone out of his pocket as he fidgeted with the device nervously.

After the bride got off the stage with the assistance of the two females, the filming was stopped. What happened after the camera was shut is uncertain. The law enforcement agencies are yet to comment on the incident. Following is the footage that has gone viral across central Asia.

The video has garnered a lot of comments. One of the users wrote, "Unfortunately it’s probably the norm in that culture as they think women have no value", while another wrote, "What else do you expect from third world foreigners". One commented, "She's probably travelling thru Italy, Germany, France, etc to claim asylum in UK. Then bring her lovely new hubby, uncles, parents, kids to live a comfortable free life in London..". "Get rid of that ugly violent man he stands there like an arrogant pig," commented a user. "Get the marriage annulled ASAP, Luv. You deserve far better than this cowardly loser," wrote another.

On Twitter, a user said, "Agree .. get away from him"
