'Grey's Anatomy' Season 17 Episode 9: Will Teddy Altman die after Andrew DeLuca? Here's what her hallucinations mean
Dr Teddy Altman's personal life has taken several twists and turns over Season 17. In Episode 7, we saw both Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) and Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) turn their backs on Teddy, for the emotional pain she had put them through. There seemed to be a flicker of hope for Teddy and Owen reconciling, when they worked as a team to save Andrew DeLuca's (Giacomo Gianniotti) life.
However, losing DeLuca has now caused Teddy to spiral into a breakdown of sorts. We see Teddy in the latest episode at DeLuca's memorial simply sitting on the sidewalk with a glazed expression. Owen finally goes to ask her what is wrong and gets no response. He then picks her up in his arms to take her home.
Whether it is the guilt over her failed relationships or the guilt over not being able to save Andrew DeLuca, one thing is clear, the emotional rollercoaster Teddy has been on has started to take its toll.

In the upcoming trailer for Episode 9 of 'Grey's Anatomy', we see Teddy hallucinating and talking to Andrew DeLuca, asking him what if it's not too late. We also see her hallucinating that Meredith is sitting up in bed reading a book looking like she is on the mend. The hallucinations have led to plenty of theories.

So what is in fact behind Teddy's hallucinations? We hear Owen Hunt saying in the trailer for Episode 9 that he's seen this look only in soldiers before. He ominously says many of them never come back. Is Teddy suffering some kind of PTSD? Or is it something more life-threatening and serious that's behind her behavior?
