'Great Expectations' on Hulu: Where was the period drama series filmed?

Now Hulu is gearing up with its rendition of 'Great Expectations', a novel by Charles Dickens'. The series is set to be created by Steven Knight, who also created 'Peaky Blinders'.

Where was Hulu's 'Great Expectations' filmed?
Most of 'Great Expectations' by Dickens is set in Kent and London and the story moves through New South Wales and Cairo, Egypt. The story takes place during the early to mid 19th century and focuses on the life of Pip as he witnesses ups and downs in life. The story of Pip starts when he is a seven-year-old orphaned boy and works as an apprentice to Joe, husband of his ill-tempered sister. Pip gets to meet Miss Havisham, a wealthy spinster and falls for her adopted daughter Estella, who is detached from emotions.
The story follows the fall and rise of Pip and the lessons he learns, from love to life, were depicted in a grounded way. Another important factor to be noted in this story is the depiction of 19th century London, the rich society, the life of a common man, and the "great expectations" that were put on Pip to achieve in his life. In other words, the story gives us a perfect picture of London at the time.
So it is safe to say that the upcoming adaptation of Hulu's 'Great Expectations' is also shot in and around London. The shooting of the upcoming adaptation series began on March 30, 2022 in Buckler's Hard, Hampshire. The confirmed filming locations also include Great George Street in Godalming in Surrey, Hampshire and London. And the trailer of the show promises us a twisted yet authentic depiction of the 19th century London, with a mild tone that evokes our interest. Though there have been several iterations of 'Great Expectations' available, we have to wait till the release of the series to see this version of London and how it stands out.
