Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin to create history on Netflix with ‘Grace and Frankie’ Season 7

After six successful seasons, there’s a promise of a final season of the popular comedy drama and we can’t wait to see the women back with more adventure and turn it into a historical show on the streaming network.

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are known to make a mark with everything they do. Since ‘9 to 5’, the co-stars turned friends have become two powerful names in the industry. And then, after 33 years, the real-life besties came together as reel-life friends and gave us an incredible show, which we know as ‘Grace and Frankie’. Ever since the show started, the duo became popular for their on-screen chemistry, quirky characters, and groundbreaking story of two 70-year olds who restart their lives in their sunset years.

The Netflix original comedy drama completed six remarkable seasons, following the adventures of two very opposite women and yet with a common goal. The network recently dropped its latest and sixth season which took off with rave reviews and exciting reactions from fans.

As we are done binge-watching all 13 episodes, there’s a promise of a final season. And that will make this series the longest-running one on the streaming network. What’s more! This will probably be historic in its own way, very much what these two women are and known for.

Season 6 of Grace and Frankie just premiered on Netflix, but we’re already looking forward to the next one.

So far, Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein have given us some incredible innovations in the form of Vybrant (vibrators for older women) and now, in season 6, they came up with Rise Up (hydraulic toilets for senior adults with arthritis). Although they present their ideas in the most hilarious ways and make it an adventurous ride, each of these innovations seems quite pertinent and creates a buzz among the audience. So, what’s next for the two fempreneurs next season?

Well, guess, we have to wait to find out, but can surely say that it will be something out of our imagination and once again the women will surprise us with their ingenuity. After all, the next season will mark an end to the joyride that we have been enjoying for the last six years.

News is that the final season of ‘Grace and Frankie’ will tentatively premiere in early 2021 and will have 16 episodes, which is the most number of episodes the show would have produced so far.

As far as the plotline is concerned, there’s no update on it yet. However, as we see in Season 6, Grace comes back to Frankie and they are just about to restart from where they left off at the beach house. But as luck would have it, things won’t be the same anymore for the besties. As they are about to go back to their old lives, they find their ex-husbands making themselves comfortable at the beach house. This is surely going to change a lot of things for each one of them.

While we bring you more updates on Season 7 of ‘Grace and Frankie’, catch up on the last six seasons of this witty, funny, and joyful ride of two remarkable women.
