'Grace And Frankie' Season 6 leaves us with burning questions and the promise of a dramatic final season
Spoiler alert!
We have been waiting with high hopes and bated breath for months now and the wait is finally over. As Netflix dropped another season of the hit comedy drama, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin managed to sweep us off our feet, as always.
After Vybrant, the ladies came back with yet another innovative product for seniors — the Rise Up. The hydraulic toilet that helps older people with arthritis is Frankie’s brainchild and the besties have been going through a whole lot of adventure to get the business started.
From starting a Twitter campaign to pitching their idea on the popular reality show 'Shark Tank', Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergstein leave no stone unturned to materialize their business venture. But to no avail.
Meanwhile, they also give away a sample piece to their ex-husbands to give it a try. As luck would have it, the toilet turns out to be a mechanically faulty piece that floods the couple's home. Ergo, they have no choice but to seek refuge in their ex-wives beach house, which technically was theirs too!
The season finale ends with the women finding their exes sitting on the porch of the beach house, telling them their sob story and the decision of moving in with them. Will they actually move in with Grace and Frankie?
But wait! You might wonder why Grace should move back in with Frankie. Why not? Much to her shock (and ours too), Nick's home is raided by the FBI and he gets arrested for a money scam. So Grace decides to return to her home.
But now that Robert and Sol are also there, will she be able to adjust to this new set up, so soon after her husband leaves for prison? How would Frankie take this big change, knowing how difficult it is for her to deal with "changes"? What will happen to Robert and Sol's great honeymoon that they had been planning for a while?
Then there is Brianna and Barry. After an emotional breakup and makeup episode, the two decide (more like Brianna decides) to stay engaged "for life". But will Barry wholeheartedly accept this?
And lest we forget Coyote and his new girlfriend, Jessica (Bud's ex). They are about to move in together or get married or both, as he says. So, will Coyote finally, after years of sobriety, have a normal life?
These are only some of the long list of questions that have been hounding us ever since we went through Season 6 and can't wait for them to be answered in the next season.
This also means that the upcoming and final season of the comedy-drama will be the most dramatic and eventful. Or so we can expect.
'Grace and Frankie' Season 6 is currently streaming on Netflix with all 13 episodes.
