George P Bush to vote for Trump, internet calls him 'piece of sh*t' for endorsing man who 'shamed his father'
Texas Land Commissioner George P Bush, son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, nephew of former President George W Bush and grandson of former President HW Bush, will be voting for President Donald Trump during his reelection campaign later this year. "President Trump is the only thing standing between America and socialism," said Bush in a statement confirming that he will be formally endorsing Trump.
"Even in a global pandemic where we have had to take unprecedented measures to protect public health, the economy is already returning," said Bush, who is the only member of his family currently holding public office. "It's clear, America and Texas will continue to be stronger than ever," he added in the statement to The Dallas Morning News and The Texas Tribune. Reports emerged last week that suggested that former President George W Bush would not be voting for Trump.
Many took to the internet to express their displeasure over George P Bush's announcement. One user tweeted, "Jeb Bush (idiot) has a son George P Bush (also an idiot) who is voting for the president again because he said he's what'll keep us from socialism. The fact that these people think Joe Biden represents socialism shows you how radically far far far far right the GOP has become."
Another wrote, "George P Bush is a Trump stooge and history will remember him as such," while one tweeted, "George P Bush 5 days ago: 'the GOP must not tolerate racism. Of any kind. At any time.' George P Bush's father, Jeb had run against Trump during the race to become the Republican candidate for the Presidential elections in 2016. During the campaigns, both Jeb and Trump had exchanged many insults, which left many wondering why Jeb's son will endorse Trump.
One tweeted, "Next Thanksgiving, George P Bush will ask someone to pass the turkey... and will rightfully get knocked the f**k out. What a douche. Trump mocks his entire family and @GeorgePBush jumps on board!" Another wrote, "F**k politics. I can't even imagine what kind of piece of sh*t George P Bush must be to endorse a man who clowned and shamed his father for MONTHS. Just spineless."
Many also took to point out that the family has been using the same name with different initials for too many generations, with one joking, "I wish they would stop rebooting George Bush. Each one is worse than the last." Another wrote, "I had no idea he existed until he crawled out from under a rock. I suggest George P Bush crawl back under.
