Kellyanne Conway’s husband says Trump and allies are 'drunks trying to take down skyscraper with a blowtorch'

Kellyanne Conway’s husband George has slammed Donald Trump as the president and his supporters continue to claim voter fraud. Taking to Twitter on November 11, the constitutional lawyer said, “The way I look at Trump and his minions' nonsense is that they're like a bunch of drunks trying to take down a skyscraper with a blowtorch. I don't think they have the remotest chance of succeeding, but I also don't think we should allow them to start a fire while they try.”

In another tweet posted on November 12, Conway wrote: “If @realDonaldTrump were to gracefully concede the election and pledge and give his cooperation to his successor and otherwise act in the best interests of the country, it would truly be the day he became president.” Many on the Internet also voiced their opinion as one user said, “In his since toddlerhood emotional brokenness, that will NEVER happen. He cannot do it; like a child, he got tired of the shiny object he won, totally disregarding that the object was the JOB of leading an entire country of real people. It was & is beyond him.  25th Amendment!”

The second user commented, “A narcissist will never change. Will never accept defeat. It will always be about him. You’re expecting way too much from someone who sees no value in human life except his…” “That will not make him a president. It will make him one day closer to an indictment for tax fraud, tax evasion for starters. No pats on the head for being a good president. He only understands leverage and force,” the third user added.

Another user on Twitter questioned: “Why TF are people like Pompeo and Barr so afraid of pissing Trump off at this point? I can understand senators not wanting to be mean-tweeted out of their jobs, but cabinet members know they’re out in January anyway. Why do they feel the need to keep appeasing him???” Another one tweeted, “Everyone needs to stay calm. This is all just a bunch of desperate posturing. #PresidentElectBiden certainly isn't worried. What we don't want to do is to allow ourselves to be baited into doing things that Trump and his minions can use against us.”

The attack on Trump by the co-founder of the Lincoln Project came as supporters of POTUS and Proud Boys plan to hold a “Million MAGA March” on Saturday, November 14 backing the 74-year-old’s claim of election fraud. They have shared several posts supporting the event on Facebook, Twitter, and conservative favored social network Parler in the last 72 hours. Besides, they have also come out on the streets of major US cities after Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election on November 7, carrying placards with slogans like "stop the steal" and "cheaters never win”.

Another report stated that on November 10 night, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany appeared on Fox News and brandished a document containing over 200-pages insisting they were proof of fraud in the election. “We keep hearing the drum beat of where is the evidence but right here 234 pages of sworn affidavits, from real people, real allegations, signed with notaries. In one county, Wayne County, Michigan, in one batch of ballots, 60 percent had the same signatures, 35 had no voter record but were counted anyway, 50 ballots were run multiple times through a machine,” McEnany said while the dossier in her hand.
