Who is Gaylin Morris? Indiana woman runs over cheating boyfriend THRICE after tracking him with AirTags
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA: Gaylyn Morris, 26, was arrested on Friday, June 3 after reportedly following her boyfriend, Andre Smith, to Tilly’s Pub in Indianapolis by using an Apple AirTag and GPS, accused him of cheating on her, and then intentionally driving the car over him three times leading to his death. Gaylyn Morris, 26, was arrested shortly after Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say officers responded to the parking lot of Tilly’s Pub in the 3900 block of East 82nd Street at about 12.30 am. They found 26-year-old Andre Smith in the parking lot underneath a vehicle.
Morris struck Smith with her car three times around midnight and the impact of the collisions killed Smith on the spot, the Indianapolis police said. A witness told the police that Morris allegedly “pulled forward and clipped the victim, and he went down, at which time … [Morris] then backed over him and then pulled forward and hit him for the third time,” according to the affidavit. Medics with the Indianapolis Fire Department pronounced Smith dead. The Marion County Coroner’s Office determined he died from being intentionally hit by a vehicle.

Morris told the witness she used an Apple AirTag and GPS to follow Smith and then found him at the bar with a woman, reports Daily Mail. Morris also told the witness that Smith was her boyfriend and that he was cheating on her. Morris picked up an empty wine bottle before telling the witness she was going to beat up the woman who was with Smith, investigators said.
Morris swung the bottle at the woman but Smith caught it and physically got between the two women, according to the affidavit. All three people were asked to leave the bar, but the woman who was with Smith stayed inside to wait for a food order. After mowing the car over Smith, Morris got out of her car and tried to go after the woman who was still at the bar, but officers arrived at the scene and detained Morris.
Jail records show Morris is preliminarily charged with murder. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will determine the final charges.
