What is the 'Future Child' filter?

Despite the fact that it takes two people to create a baby, this new filter will allow you to view how your future child will seem based on how you appear. It operates by evaluating a picture of your face and creating an AI-generated image of what your hypothetical offspring will appear to be. The filter only produces future offspring that match the user's gender.

As a result, if you are a female creator utilizing the filter, you will get a result that forecasts the appearance of your future daughter. On the other side, male creators will only be able to view what their future sons will look like.

How to try this filter?

The filter actually comes from the video-editing app Capcut, which features AI technology. ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, is also the maker of Capcut. On that note, the apps can easily work in conjunction with each other.

1. You must download Capcut to participate in this trend.

2. In Capcut, head to the search bar and type in "childhood trend." After hitting enter, choose the second option. Once you click on the video, look toward the bottom of your screen, where it should read "Use template." Select that.

3. Next, you should be prompted to upload a photo of yourself. Once that's done, Capcut will work its magic and share your results with you.  When you're done you should be able to open the video in TikTok and share it with your followers.

You can now share the videos of your future 'little me' on TikTok.
