The filter was developed by makeup artist and TikTok user @juliadudokk to help users apply contour, blush, and concealer correctly for effects that resemble an "instant face lift."

On TikTok, beauty influencers have been trying the technique and praising the outcomes. On the forehead and below the eyes, the filter features geometric lines and shapes that, when properly blended out, give the skin a radiant aspect.

'A game changer'

The trend "doesn't discriminate against face form," according to makeup artist Saffron Hughes of FalseEyelashes, and looks beautiful on everyone, reported RSVP live. "This new contour filter is a game changer. It honed a pro's technique and taught beginners the fundamentals of placing contours and highlights," she said.

Saffron continued, saying, "This gives the illusion of lifted cheekbones and is a particularly effective anti-aging technique." Concealer is not only great for covering blemishes on the skin, but it is also a brilliant tool for adding definition to the face.

Fans who have used the filter are astonished by the unusual makeup placements, saying it's not where they originally expected their contour to go.
