Spoilers for 'FUBAR' Episode 5

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: When Episode 4 of ‘FUBAR’ ended, we saw Boro losing control and collapsing on the ground. At first, Luke and Emma believed that they just got what they wanted and now things will get better. But it seems Boro (Gabriel Luna) had some other ideas and was never going to give away what the authorities wanted from him.

In Episode 5 of the Netflix series, Boro has been taken into custody by the CIA and now they want to question him. Luke (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Emma (Monica Barbaro), and their entire team take part in a meeting to decide how they should extract information from the criminal. Emma and Roo believe that he should be tortured to the core while Luke and others think torture cannot be the answer to everything. Emma confronts Luke about not using torture as a method to extract the truth out of Boro just because he “cared” for him. In the meeting, it is decided that till the time they get PDD for torture, they are going to call Norm Carlson for the interrogation.

Is Boro lying to Luke and the CIA?

After the meeting, Luke and Emma meet Boro in the interrogation room and talk about their past. Boro says that he never lied to any of them and they hurt him for being so nice to them. As the conversation progresses, Boro confronts Luke about killing his father. He believes that Luke only helped him with school and everything out of guilt to assuage his conscience. But Luke makes it clear that he still cares for him and that’s why he came there to tell him that a man has been called up to inflict pain on him and he doesn’t want to see him in pain.

As a result, Boro says that he wants to strike a deal and agrees to give all the information about his clients. In return, they will keep him at a house in Bora Bora and give him a waterproof security anklet so that he can enjoy the pool. Luke believes that getting info on all of his clients would be really beneficial. However, he doesn’t say yes to the deal.

A few moments later, the head of the operation strikes a deal with the Zimbabwe government and stops the interrogation. While having a conversation, the head of the operation tells Luke that they will give Boro to the Zimbabwe authorities after he tells them about his clients. So, Boro makes a video about one of the bombs he had and uploads it on the dark web. They get the locations and several teams of US Marines are sent to these locations to neutralize the threat. However, Boro was playing with them and had already called his men to the secret location from where they uploaded the video.

Boro betrays as Luke and the CIA lose control

Luke and his team were ambushed by gunmen. Boro got away from the location and their operation turned out to be a disaster.

When Boro talked about giving all the info about his clients, we already guessed that he might be bluffing and making a plan to get out of prison. He baited them with information about his clients and the authorities seemed to have fallen for it. The entire plan has now been screwed up and Boro will now do everything to accomplish his mission and kill millions of people. Would Luke and Emma be able to stop him from such a heinous crime? We’ll see in the upcoming set of episodes.

'FUBAR' is currently streaming on Netflix.
