LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ever since the bus of strangers arrived in town, things have been more than chaotic. What is 'From' Season 2 about? Plot of MGM+ sci-fi horror series explained

Can Kristi and Maryelle have a happily ever after?

The idea of a "happily ever after" is a big question mark when it comes to a series like 'From,' where people drop dead every other episode. Moreover, 'From' Season 2 is more brutal than ever, and the creators do not hold back on the death toll. When the mysterious bus picked up 24 new passengers, one of them was Maryelle, Kristi's fiance who has been mentioned a few times before. This was a welcome surprise - for the viewers and Kristi, not for Kenny Liu. Kenny and Kristi's chapter may be coming to an end because Kristi is really holding on to Maryelle, or at least the memories they had before Kristi came to this town.

Maryelle still can not grasp the gravity of the situation, and although Kristi would like to sit down and explain it to her, she is needed elsewhere. Fortunately for viewers, 'From' Season 2 Episode 3 gives them some consolation towards the end. Kristi returns from the woods, where she sees a passenger slowly disappear from the bus and succumb to death. Kristi breaks down while Maryelle holds her and lets Kristi sob her heart out. This little incident definitely opened the door for a spark and romance to be reignited between the two!

Should Kristi choose Maryelle or Kenny?

No doubt fans will be divided on whether Kristi should end up with Kenny or Maryelle. On the one hand, Kenny and she have survived nightmares together, and on the other, Maryelle is her fiancé. While 'From' has several subplots and storylines, this love triangle could take up a lot of air time in upcoming episodes. Or Kenny could retire, and Maryelle and Kristi could be happily ever after!

You can stream ‘From’ Season 2 on MGM+ from April 23, 2023
