DALY CITY, CALIFORNIA: Frances Kendra Lucero was shot to death by her husband when they were returning home after a heated argument at a family dinner on Monday, March 6. Romier Narag, Lucero's husband, shot her in front of their two young children, aged three and four. The terrible incident transpired in Daly City, California, and Narag is accused of shooting the 27-year-old mother once in the leg with a 9-millimeter handgun as she ran towards their home around 7.30 pm on Monday, March 6, according to DailyMail.

The Daly City Police Department stated that Lucero was shot four times, and Narag was soon placed under arrest. He faces charges of homicide, endangering children, concealing a handgun in a moving car, and possessing a loaded firearm. On Tuesday, March 16, Narag, who is presently imprisoned at the Maguire Correctional Center, will make an appearance in court in relation to the incident. 'I wish I could just hug you one more time'

Lucero's sister wrote in an homage to her, "To my built-in best friend. I never imagined myself typing out something like this for you. You were my best friend, my (sic) ate, my 2nd mom, my platonic soulmate. I will forever love you and miss you. I wish I could just hug you one more time. Get one more conversation with you," as reported by DailyMail.

The sister added, "I will forever be blessed with being able to call myself Frances Kendra's little sister. Kuya, Dad, Me and Mom will be okay. You rest now ate. I pray you're not in pain anymore. I pray you're at peace. My guardian angel. I love you so much."

'Frances dedicated her life to her children'

A GoFundMe had been established to cover Frances' memorial services as well as any further assistance her family may need to get through this challenging time. The public's affection and support enabled the fundraiser to achieve more than its $30,000 goal and a total of $38,914 has been raised.

A family member wrote on the Gofundme page, "Frances dedicated her life to her children and always spread the love she had to share. She was the most genuine, thoughtful, loyal and ambitious woman we've all been blessed to know."

"Frances was that friend that would help you celebrate good times and provide nothing but support during the bad times. She was a beautiful Mother, daughter, sister, and friend who touched countless lives of those around her. She sadly leaves behind her Mother, Father, little brother, little sister and her two babies," the family member concluded.
