'Floribama Shore': Gus opens up about his feelings for Nilsa but things don't go his way this time
Gus Smyrnios and Nilsa Prowant seemed to have an understanding that they were better as friends but it looks like he had a change of mind with the Season coming to an end. In the last episode of the Season, the cast decided to have the time of their lives. This included drinking, partying and living like there was no tomorrow.
The fun started with the cast members licking whipped cream off another cast member's body. Things got heated when Nilsa licked the cream off of Gus' chest. Looking at the chemistry that was brewing between them, many thought that there was a possibility that the two would end up hooking up again.
Gus also seemed to like the idea of being with Nilsa and decided to do something about it. After they all came back home, Gus decided to have a conversation with Nilsa. The two sat down and he opened up about how there was a chemistry between them and added the possibility of a relationship into the conversation.
Nilsa was left surprised as in the previous Season she had wanted to be in a relationship but Gus had not been open to it. She revealed that she did not want their friendship to be ruined because they had come a long way since the time they hooked up.
She admitted that she did not want to go back to that place and ruin their friendship. Gus was left confused about where this was coming from and recalled that Nilsa was open to a relationship last Season. However, Nilsa made him understand that if they brought physical relationship into their friendship, things would ultimately become weird.
She further added that she did not think they should hook up another time. Gus respected her decision and decided to end the conversation. While he looked upset that things did not go his way, fans were happy that Nilsa did not go back to Gus.
"Good for Nilsa. I'm glad she didn't say yes to Gus," one user wrote. Another added, "So proud of Nilsa for not letting Gus finesse his way into a "relationship" with her".
