Who are the founders?

Emily Castro and Melissa Harrington are the founders of Fish Fixe. The duo met in mid 200s, while playing soccer for Texas A&M. As per the website, the two of them had been trying to find a way to incorporate seafood more often in the family's diets. 

Melissa added seafood to her meals after the birth of her second child, and to ensure its freshness; she had it vacuum seal and frozen. When she sent Emily "a cooler full of fresh fish- individually packaged and frozen at the peak of freshness", the two knew they had something special in hand.
