One thing clear from 'Fargo' season 4, episode 10 promo is the fact that we will for the time being not return to dissect what really took place in Liberal, Kansas. Is Rabbi Milligan (Ben Whishaw) dead then? We are expected to believe so based on the newspaper clipping that we saw at the beginning of episode 9 and which noted that two African Americans, two Italians, and one Irishman were found dead miles apart after the tornado. Four of them were reportedly shot. So in the upcoming episode, we will be returning to Kansas City, where we see Loy Cannon gunning for the Italians as he continues to believe that his son was killed by Calamita.

The fact that Rabbi had escaped with Satchel is not something that the Italians share. Loy's henchman Omie Sparkman (Corey Hendrix), on the trail of Constant Calamita, was shot dead by him so there is no way for Loy to find out the truth. So instead, Loy seems to be concentrating on the targets within the city. So in the promo, we see Ethelrida, meet with him. In the beginning, Loy asks her if she wants him to help her parents out. She says no, and instead tells him that she will help him win his war. Is this a result of being worried about Oraetta Mayflower finding out that the one who complained about her to her senior doctor was indeed Ethelrida? Or does Ethelrida plan on gaining a tad bit of power within Loy Cannon's gang?

Either way, Oraetta will serve as a problem for Ethelrida because she knows the truth about all the crimes that Oraetta committed in the past and continues to commit in the present. For now, Oraetta is also mad at Josto Fadda for accepting a marriage proposal from an affluent family and has chased him out as well. So she can now single-mindedly focus on removing Ethelrida from the picture somehow. It is strange how people begin to connect with each other, now at the end of episode 9. From Oraetta who has an affair with Josto to Ethelrida whose parents owe money to the Cannons, to Zelmare Roulette who helps her sister Dibrell Smutney by stealing money from Loy Cannon to pay back to him, to Cannon's enmity with Josto and the Italians; all of it is interconnected and there is one string which when unraveled will bring about the end for all of these characters in the final two episodes. Finding out what this string is and who holds it is what makes watching this show intriguing.

'Fargo' season 4's new episodes air every Sunday at 10 pm ET on FX and can be streamed on Hulu.
