'Ex on the Beach’ couples Shannon-Devin, Ariana-Mechie, and Kenya-Tevin split up soon after show finished filming

Three fan-favorite couples from season 3 of 'Ex on the Beach' split up after the show ended. Read on to know why.

Season 3 of ‘Ex on the Beach’ saw the highest number of couples in the show’s history leaving the show together. We were extremely happy for these couples that they found what they set out for- love. But we are all well aware of how gimmicky these dating based-reality shows can be. Many relationships are just meant for the cameras and they end as soon as the filming ends.

So, we were very curious about what the status of some of our favorite couples from the show was. Are they still together or did they just decide to call it quits? In this glorious age of reality television, we thankfully have the “reunion-special” episodes, where the cast members sit together and reveal everything that we have been dying to know. After watching the show, we began strongly rooting for a few couples like Ariana and Mechie, Devin and Shannon, and the famous Kenya and Tevin, so it would be an understatement to say we were crushed when we found out that these couples weren’t together anymore.

Both Shannon and Ariana had a very toxic past relationship, and when the show forced them to accept the reality of their situation and break up from that unhealthy relationship, we were all for it. As the saying goes, when one door closes another opens, these women too soon found love on the show. Shannon and Devin made for a lovely couple, while Ariana and Mechie’s courtship had everybody rooting for these two.

On the reunion episode, the couples revealed that they all split up soon after the show for various reasons. Shannon and Devin couldn’t make their relationship work owing to the long-distance. Ariana revealed that her relationship with Mechie “fizzled” within a month. It was also revealed that Mechie hooked up with his ex- Danielle a day after he hooked up with Ariana, so we think that maybe it’s for the best that Ariana and Mechie didn’t work out.

Kenya and Tevin were joined to the hips since the time Tevin washed up on the show. So it came as no surprise when they left the show together as a couple. But unfortunately, their “trust-issues” with each other played spoilsport and eventually made them part ways. But thankfully all hope isn’t lost with these two, as they are still friends and hopefully in future things might work out for them.
