STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA: A retired Reno police detective has an interesting theory on how Stockton serial killer can be grabbed by the authorities with the help of "an eerie Facebook boast". With decades of experience in nabbing criminals from all walks of life, ex-cop Allan Fox believes that a "huge clue may come via a social media brag.’ "You’d be surprised how many people post something about their new guns on, say Facebook, that can be useful," Fox told The San Francisco Chronicle.

The search team is desperately hunting for the person who has allegedly murdered at least five people in the Californian city with the victims' age between 21 and 54 and another murder in Oakland, 70 miles away from Stockton, in April 2021. Ex-cop Fox further said, "He’s done too much, and in one town, and I think someone’s going to know something useful. “I think they’ll catch him, and he’s going to have a story for sure — some kind of motivation."

The authorities have released footage of the alleged killer, where a person can be seen walking with a distinctive limp on the street in a ‘grainy surveillance footage.’ Stockton Police Chief, Stanley McFadden, told CNN that ‘the victims were alone, often caught off guard, or maybe relaxing in a vehicle or walking alone in almost pitch darkness.’ Most of the killings have taken place in a secluded area with not many cameras around. One of the victims, Miguel Vasquez Serrano, 40, used to sleep in cars he’d be fixing, claims locals to San Francisco Chronicle. Paul Yaw, 35, another victim of the Stockton serial killer was a homeless man, who was murdered on July 8, 2022. Salvador Debudey was shot dead on August 11, while he was camping near a Popeye’s restaurant. Similarly, Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez, 21, was murdered on Aug 11, while he was sitting in his car.

As per private investigator Jason Jensen, ‘this killer is a bloodthirsty individual who may want to become infamous’, he told The US Sun. “They have no moral compass. The attacker isn't motivated by rage and they're shooting whomever they encounter - it's a crime of opportunity."
