Craving for a vegan gourmet burger? This week's mouth-watering product on ‘Shark Tank’ is all you need. A trio of entrepreneurs – Jumoke Jackson, Danita Claytor and Duane Cheers – from Hyattsville, Maryland, pitch their product this week on the ABC show and are on a mission to create a healthy lifestyle for families with their delicious plant-based take on a classic favorite food.

The Black-owned company named Everything Legendary says on their official website, “We believe that flavor is the soul of food. Take a stand with us and demand nutritious food with taste.” Not just that, the founders also claim, “This flavor will get you. For real, it’s a whole other level of taste. Take a bite. There’s no turning back to that bland life.”

What is Everything Legendary?

If you binge on too much junk, Everything Legendary is here to help add more nutrition and a mind-bending flavor to your burgers. “We’re crafting food inspired by our original legend – mom,” the founders confess on their official website, adding, “Mom went plant-based for her health. But the burgers she was eating were junk. That’s not us. So, we stepped up. Creating plant-based food with flavor like no other. Making meals worthy of mom. Because if mom can’t eat it, no one should.”

The founders strive to make the world a healthier place and say their mission is to create a healthy lifestyle for families by producing delicious plant-based food.

Who are the founders?

On the show, three entrepreneurs — Jumoke Jackson, Danita Claytor, Duane “Myko” Cheers — present the product. The idea man, chef Duane's mother, a vegan battling Lupus and President Danita Claytor’s mom, who had cancer, were the trio's biggest source of inspiration. Once the flavor-charged classic burger patties made with plant-based ground meat went to the streets, it became a huge hit among customers.

The dream team behind Everything Legendary is rather large. Here's everything from the official website about the people who have helped make the product successful.

Where are they now?

Did you know Everything Legendary has expanded its line with three new vegan cheeseburgers: Cheddar, Cayenne Pepper, and Pepper Jack. Delicious! While most businesses hit their rock bottom, the burger brand started curbside pickups to keep delivering food while maintaining social distancing.

In May 2020, the company had quite a loyal loyal clientele at Browns Market and Kitchen Cray Cafe. Reportedly, they also got a grand opening at Legendary Burger Cafe in Landover Hills, MD, and Milk & Honey in Washington DC. With catering services for offices and parties, the company has been picking up momentum and has reached out to millions of customers despite the pandemic.

Who will steal the deal?

It's no secret that Mark Cuban is vegan. In fact, the Shark has previously invested in several vegan products, including $250,000 in Mrs Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli vegan corned beef and $100,000 in Wanna Date vegan spreads among others. Could he be the one to grab a deal with his product too? Well, only time will tell, but there seems to be a strong chance.

In a new sneak peek from the episode, the official Twitter handle posts, “#SharkTank is getting down to business tonight at 8|7c.”
