CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Conspiracies and unknown threats continue to haunt Talcott Garland (Grantham Coleman) in Episode 3 of 'Emperor of Ocean Park'.

The law professor, grieving his father's death by heart attack, finds himself in the middle of a situation where people are pursuing him for an information he doesn't possess.

The strange events occurring around him lead him to suspect he is being stalked, and this suspicion is confirmed when someone blows up a car right in front of him.

Who blew up the car in 'Emperor of Ocean Park' Episode 3?

Talcott arranges a meeting with Agent McDermott, who visited his house in Episode 2, posing as FBI agent and asked him about Lisa. McDermott guided Talcott to get into the red sedan parked outside the station's parking lot.

Just as Talcott was heading to the car, it gets bombed, claiming the life of the person sitting inside the car (probably McDermott himself).

The episode doesn't reveal who orchestrated the car's bombing, but it has to be someone who's stalking Talcott.

Talcott narrowly escapes being blown to pieces. The person who detonated the car timed it perfectly, not to kill Talcott, but to ensure he witnessed it and realized he was being watched. This was clearly the agenda of the stalker who had been following him in the university's parking lot.

Till now, there were two parties interested in knowing about the arrangements: One was Agent McDermott, who was hired by an unknown client to get the information and the other one is Jack Ziegler (Torrey Hanson) who showed up at Judge Garland's funeral and interrogated Talcott.

At this point, we can speculate that Jack orchestrated the attack on the agent's car to instill fear in Talcott and prevent him from sharing any information with anyone except him.

If this is true, it would be shocking for Talcott, who believes that Jack would never cause him any harm or trouble. Talcott now has a lot to unpack in Episode 4 and further episodes.

'Emperor of Ocean Park' Episode 4 is scheduled to release on August 4, 2024, on MGM+
