The newest MGM+ series features Grantham Coleman as law professor Talcott Garland who finds himself in a complicated web after his father dies of heart attack.
When his sister approaches him, expressing her concern of a foul play, he rejects her conspiracy theory. Aiming to return to normalcy as he grapples with grief, certain encounters circles him into a mystery.
What happened with Talcott Garland in 'Emperor of Ocean Park' Episode 2?
In 'Emperor of Ocean Park' Episode 2, two FBI agents come knocking on his door, enquiring about Jack Ziegler (Torrey Hanson) and his associate Lisa.
Talcott acknowledges that Jack contact him at Judge Oliver Garland's (Forest Whitaker) funeral and adds that he knows nothing about Lisa.
Angered with his reply, the agents accuse him of lying. They leave only after Talcott tells that Jack was talking about some mysterious "arrangements".
By the end of the episode, Talcott discovers that they were not real FBI agents.
Moreover, Talcott finds one of the stolen pawns on his podium at college which suggests that Talcott is being watched and someone is trying to send him a message that could be threatening in nature.
What's next for Talcott Garland in 'Emperor of Ocean Park'?
Even though Talcott claims to know nothing about the arrangements or Lisa, it would be impossible for him to get rid of these unforeseen troubles.
The events of Episode 2 will now make him believe that his sister wasn't wrong. Someone has already tortured Father Freeman Brown to death and Mariah (Tiffany Mack) believes that the killer was trying to extract some information.
Currently, Talcott is on Jack Ziegler's radar who desperately wants to know about the "arrangements".
Intriguingly, Jack doesn't seem to be the only interested party. Those two fake agents are likely to return again, threatening Talcott for more information.
