'My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci': Elon Musk in troll mode as Internet calls for doc's investigation

Elon Musk's tweet comes at a time when the Republicans are claiming that Dr Anthony Fauci lied regarding the Covid-19 funding

SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA: Chief Twit Elon Musk called out Dr Anthony Fauci in a recent tweet regarding the Covid-19 lockdown. He also mocked the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) by using pronouns, calling for the latter's prosecution. On Sunday, December 11, 2022, Musk tweeted, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci."

According to New York Post, the Tesla CEO also posted an image of Fauci whispering in President Joe Biden’s ear and captioned it, “JUST ONE MORE LOCKDOWN MY KING…” Meanwhile, Fauci is all set to retire from the Biden administration and as director of NIAID at the end of the year.

Though Musk did not explain why he should be charged in his tweet, his mocking comes at a time when the Republicans are alleging that Fauci had lied regarding the funds during the Covid-19 lockdown for the gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at a lab in Wuhan, China.

Musk had previously claimed that he would “absolutely” cooperate with any Congressional investigation into Fauci's handling of the pandemic. Recently, he has also shared controversial Twitter files to the public that indicate how the tweets of the Republicans were suppressed.

Previously, he has also slammed people using pronouns in the profiles, he stated, “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare and pronouns suck.”

Musk also has a transgender child called Vivian Jenna Wilson, 18, who was once known as Xavier Alexander Musk. However, the name was changed this year so that she would not be linked to her billionaire father.

Fauci became a national figure during Covid-19 when he slammed the lawmakers regarding the seriousness of the disease. He was also actively promoting the effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccines, travel guidelines, and lockdowns. 

'His best tweet so far'

The Internet quickly reacted to Musk's tweet. A user said, "What’s wrong with that? He should be investigated, period dot com!!" Praising Musk, another claimed, "His best tweet so far." A tweet stated, "Under closer Inspection." "Elon is a genius," read a tweet.

Another Twitter user wrote, "July 2020. A complete fraud then and a bigger fraud now. Sorry if you didn’t see it then but you probably should of." A user explained, "I am not a big fan of Musk, but he gains my respect day after day.."

Another user tweeted, "His retirement is not amnesty. Fauci’s crimes against humanity cannot be forgotten." Another claimed, "Fauci purposefully and admittedly lied about multiple things because he thought it was for the greater good. It wasn’t. All he did was drastically decrease trust for public health officials going forward and implement many policies/mandates that caused more harm than good."
