Ellie Clark: Police 'growing increasingly concerned' about 13-year-old who went missing days ago

PERTH, SCOTLAND: Police are still searching for 13-year-old Ellie Clark, who went missing in Scotland's Perth on Thursday, March 2. Detectives are "growing increasingly concerned" about Clark and are reviewing CCTV footage of the area to locate her.  

Clark, who is described as 5ft 3in tall, was last seen in Tulloch Terrace around 8.15 am local time. She is believed to be wearing a black jacket, black leggings and black Converse trainers at the time she went missing.

Authorities grow concerned

Inspector Kris McCall of Perth police said during a conference, "As time passes we are growing increasingly concerned for Ellie. Ellie has links to the East Kilbride area and I would urge people there, and in Perth, to get in touch with any information that could assist in tracing her. Likewise, I would appeal directly to Ellie, if you see this message please contact the police on 101 or approach any police officer so we can ensure you are safe." 

Many people have reacted to the news on social media. One person wrote, "Was she on her own when she was last seen in the Tulloch Terrace area around 8.15 am?" Another one shared the post and wrote, "Someone must know where this lassie is...her family will be frantic with worry."



 



 

Another teenager missing

Another 14-year-old named Kylee Greenwell went missing in Kentucky on March 1. She was last seen at her house on Poole Mill Road in Crofton, near Nashville, around 1.00am. Grennwell's worried family put up a Facebook post, asking people to help locate her. The post reads, "I want to say to ANYONE who might have information about where Kylee is. If you are worried about anyone knowing who told us, we will keep your information anonymous. At this point we do not care how we find her, we just need her home safe. We will be nothing but forever grateful to you for any information we get that leads to her safe return. I just need my baby home safe. #FINDKylee #bringkyleehome.”
