Duck nail tips are popular on TikTok and are flared like a fan or duck's feet. However, they are not the same as duck lips, which were replaced by fish-gape lips. People are over the coffin and almond-shaped nails and have introduced duck nail tips.

Duck nail tips are brand-new, and they have recently made a splash in TikTok videos. In 2012, Snooky popularized duck nail tips or flared nails from the Jersey Shore, which are more akin to the flapper-era style of the 1920s. The Y2K nail style has just started to emerge, whereas duck nail tips first appeared in the early 2000s.

What are duck nail tips?

Duck nails are the complete opposite of coffin nails, which are an improvement above boring nails, Beauti Classy reported. Duck nails are acrylic or artificial nails that are triangular in shape and resemble the webbed feet of ducks. They are broader on the extended side than the actual nail bed.

In crown-shaded duck nails, more of the actual shape of the tips can be seen, which is a rectangle that forms as they flare out. Manicure artists developed a fondness for these nails due to the 3D charms and cheetah colors on them.

A Twitter user shared her TikTok video saying, "You sleep?!!! #ducknails #freestyle #junknails #njnailtech"
