Donald Trump branded ‘whiny little b***h’ after he resigns from SAG-AFTRA highlighting ‘Home Alone 2’ cameo
Former President Donald Trump has submitted his resignation from the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) as the union moved through a process that could expel him for his alleged role in the attack on Capitol Hill.
Trump’s recent actions come after the union’s board voted to start a disciplinary process that could result in his expulsion. However, Trump’s recent resignation letter did not sit too well with Twitter users, who called out the former president with different names.
On January 19, 2021, SAG-AFTRA said in a statement that it would consider expelling Trump from membership over his alleged role in inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol. SAG-AFTRA’s president Gabrielle Carteris had accused the former president of promoting misinformation that reportedly led to the attack. Carteris noted that the attack resulted in the death of five people and threatened the safety of journalists.

“Donald Trump attacked the values that this union holds most sacred — democracy, truth, respect for our fellow Americans of all races and faiths, and the sanctity of the free press,” Carteris said in a statement. “There’s a straight line from his wanton disregard for the truth to the attacks on journalists perpetrated by his followers.”
Trump’s response to SAG-AFTRA:
Days before starting the disciplinary process, Trump sent a resignation letter to the union announcing his resignation. Addressing Carteris, he said he is “not familiar with” her work but added that he is proud of his screen appearances in ‘Home Alone 2’, ‘Zoolander’, ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’, ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, ‘Saturday Night Live’, and ‘The Apprentice’.
Trump, who had been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1989, blasted the union as it had done “little for its members, and nothing for him” other than collecting dues and promoting un-American policies. As per an earlier report by The Hollywood Reporter, Trump received pensions from SAG and AFTRA in 2020. In 2020, he received $84,292 from SAG and $9,451 from AFTRA.
In a comment on the letter, SAG-AFTRA replied by only saying, “Thank you", reports Fox News.

Donald Trump’s Cameo in ‘Home Alone 2’
Trump had a cameo in the 1992 comedy movie ‘Home Alone 2: Lost in New York’ where he played himself, the owner of the Plaza Hotel, who directs Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) to the hotel’s lobby. After Trump pointed out his role in ‘Home Alone 2’ in his resignation letter, several social media users slammed him for his short cameo.
One user wrote: “Trump still can't get over NOT being nominated for an Academy Award from Home Alone 2?” While another mentioned: “Everyone is laughing at him citing Home Alone 2, but, at least that WAS a movie. He also literally listed his involvement in news stories and broadcast journalism as if they were film credits.” Another user wrote: “His "work" in Home Alone 2 was literally saying one line and pointing to the hotel lobby for Kevin.” Another voiced a similar opinion: “This is f-----g HILARIOUS. Also, about Home Alone 2. Trump - who owned The Plaza at the time - only allowed the scenes to be shot inside the hotel if director Chris Columbus put him in the movie. It's not like production wanted him. He did that with ALL cameos.” Another Twitter user wrote: "#DonaldTrump is still the "whiny little b*tch", I see. What a pitiful doofus worm he truly is. Keeps US laughing, though. Hey, #Trump should have a sitcom, but then he'd have to beg #SAG to let him rejoin the union."
