After British television personality Piers Morgan quizzed former US President Donald Trump about the outcome of the 2020 election, he seemed to storm out of the interview. When Morgan informs Trump that the election was "free and fair" and that "you lost," Trump seems angry in a 30-second commercial for Morgan's new show, which will debut on Rupert Murdoch's Talk TV and Fox Nation on April 25.

The Republican leader responds, "Only a fool would think that." At the start of the dramatic tape, Trump says to the controversial broadcaster, "I think I'm a very good man." He further mentions that he is a lot more honest than Morgan. "I don't think you are real," Trump says when Morgan confronts him about his inability to offer "actual proof" to back up his unsubstantiated claims of massive electoral fraud in 2020.

Trump seems to walk away from the interview after asking Morgan to "finish it up" and "turn the camera off" in what seems to be the "most incendiary interview of the year." Trump exits tense Piers Morgan interview after being questioned about the 2020 race.

Morgan is a former CNN anchor and anti-woke activist who resigned from Good Morning Britain following a backlash for on-air remarks he made about Meghan Markle. Trump is a former host of the NBC reality show The Apprentice.

Morgan, the first winner of Trump's reality show "Celebrity Apprentice," wrote a New York Post editorial on the interview shortly after it was aired, headlined "How all hell broke loose following my explosive battle with Trump over his stolen election claims." Morgan said that "someone" had provided Trump a paper prior to the interview that had all of Trump's bad statements over the previous two years. He said Trump presented him a litany of statements in which he referred to former US President as a "supreme narcissist," "too dangerous," and someone who had "morphed into a monster."

However, Trump maintained that the video had been edited and that he did not ask for the cameras to be turned off or left the interview. He has released an audio recording that appears to refute an edited video clip that seemed to show him walking out of the interview. Instead, the audio, given by Trump's spokesman to NBC News, hints that the interview ended with the duo thanking each other and laughing.
