Donald Trump Jr has been trolled online for claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not launch an unprovoked attack on Ukraine when Donald Trump was the POTUS because the former prez had “balls”. While delivering his final speech at the four-day Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida, the former first son said, “There's a reason it didn't happen under Trump. People understand strength, they understand resolve, they understand balls.”

Trump Jr also took a dig at President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden as he expressed his happiness over an auction of an Alaskan fishing trip with him and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle. The trip was traded for $75,000 during the live auction at CPAC's Friday night, February 25, Ronald Reagan dinner. He said, “I heard the fishing trip ... went for a lot of money. See, if I were Hunter Biden I'd put that in my pocket rather than going for a good cause, right? It'd be a little different. But we can't do that right?”

The 44-year-old then went on to focus on the Russia-Ukraine crisis by saying, “Think about how things are going right now. That the administration that currently is in charge wanted to put together a program to hand out crack pipes. Because you'd have to be on crack to think that they're doing a good job, right? At least they've got a program Hunter could be in charge of.”

He then stated, “You know the first thing a bully does? He takes advantage of the weak and infirm. All you have to do is watch him walk up a flight of stairs,” before mentioning Biden’s pull-out from Afghanistan. The former television presenter said, “What we can't disagree on is the disgrace that happened in Afghanistan. You think Vladimir Putin didn't see that and say, ‘Excellent.’ You think that Xi over in China wasn't saying, ‘Hey, whatever my timeline for taking over Taiwan was: accelerate it.’”

Trump Jr also reportedly stated that strength, resolve, and “balls” are important for a leader but “right now our leadership has none of those things”. He, however, said that the current US government has “Depends”, a brand of adult diapers. “They do have Depends. Without a doubt. Go long on that stock. You know Nancy Pelosi invested in that way ahead of things,” he added.

People on Twitter did not seem impressed with his comments as a user in a series of tweets said, “Russia was able to invade Ukraine today because Donald Trump enabled and strengthened Putin for the previous four years. Not even Donald Trump Jr. can possibly believe that Putin feared his weak-kneed daddy."

The user added, “Donald Trump Jr. claimed that Putin didn’t invade Ukraine when his dad was president because he was afraid of him. Donald Trump Jr. has smoked too much crack. The Russian violence against Ukraine was happening while Trump was president. Why would Putin fear his asset? Donald Trump Jr. Tries To Convince America That Putin Feared Trump. Another user tweeted, “Right. Really takes a lotta balls to go hide in the White House bunker when protesters are out on the street.” “Junior forgets that Daddy gave Putin *everything* he wanted, so there would be no need for Puty to act nefariously under someone he installed to do his bidding,” a person wrote. The second one added, “@DonaldJTrumpJr It wouldn’t have happened because daddy gave him everything he wanted. You do realize that lying, demeaning yourself further & continuing to enable daddy will never make him love you or save you. Get some therapy & try to salvage whatever bit is left of your soul.”
