Footage of Amber Heard slipping and saying that she used a "bruise kit" before quickly correcting herself has gone viral on the Internet. The 36-year-old actress was talking about covering up bruises during her testimony for the defamation trial against Johnny Depp when she made the slip.

Heard alleged that she had been physically abused by the 58-year-old actor during their relationship. During her testimony, the actress was talking about using a makeup palette to cover up her alleged bruises. "This is what I was talking about as a color correction kit. This is not, obviously, the exact one I used to carry, but I used to carry it with me all the time," said Heard.

She further added, "Sometimes this pink is sometimes a little but more purple of a hue. And sometimes the kits are three colors. You can get them in three or four colors. Sometimes they have even more. I am typically photographed in LA when I leave the house. Paparazzi take my photograph, so I'm somewhat aware of that anyway."

"No woman wants to walk around with a bruise on her face. So if I did have a bruise on my face, or someplace visible, the main thing you have to ice right away to reduce swelling because no amount of makeup can fix swelling. But it's very manageable. You ice it really soon. Arnica is also a great remedy, arnica cream," explained Heard.

"And then if you want to cover up a bruise, you obviously put foundation first, concealer and then on top of that I use like a bruise kit. Not a bruise kit, it's a theater makeup kit. A color correction kit, but I call it my bruise kit," the 'Aquaman' actress corrected herself. Footage of Heard's testimony has gone viral, and people are offended at the way the actress continues to lie about being abused.

One user made a video showcasing how bruise kits are used to make bruises. In the video, she says, "Did you mean this theatre bruise kit? It's literally called bruise and abrasions. It's for theatre, it's meant to make bruises." Another user who posted the TikTok video captioned it, "Just wanted to share this Ambers slip about her 'bruise kit' #JohnnyDeppVsAmberHeard #JusticeForJohnnyDepp. #AmberHeardlsAPsychopath."

Other users spotted a palette that supposedly looks like a bruise kit after zooming into an image of Depp sleeping with a spilled ice cream box in his lap. "Umm so this photo of Johnny Depp with ice cream down his body… if you zoom in on the TABLE!?… Is that a 'bruise kit' literally on the left corner??? help plz Twitter!?"

Other users called out her order of makeup products since any color correcting product is supposed to go beneath the foundation and concealer, not above them, as described by Heard. One user tweeted, "The fact that she said she used to 'wear foundation then concealer then the bruise kit' IN THAT ORDER to cover her bruises makes it clear to anyone who knows makeup that she’s full of shit! #AmberIsALiar."

Another said, "BOOM! she said, foundation, concealer, THEN BRUISE KIT!!! every woman knows color corrector goes on FIRST. SHE DOESN'T WEAR MAKEUP! she put the "bruise kit" on top of her makeup!!!! A third user wrote, "when amber heard said "i used a bruise kit WELL NOT A BRUISE KIT I JUST CALL IT THAT WAY" you slipped there darling."

A fourth commented, "Amber did just admit to using a bruise kit. That's what they use to MAKE bruises. F*cking idiot." A fifth felt, "One of the moments I waited for in Amber Heard's testimony was how she was using her makeup to cover bruises. She held the Milani pallet said it 'obviously wasn't this exact one', called it a 'bruise kit', and then said she used it after her foundation and concealer [eyes emoji]."

Another makeup expert wrote, "'I'd cover bruises with foundation first, then add concealer and then bruise kit / color correction kit' Amber said. As someone who went to a beauty school, I screamed. She would be walking around looking green and orange. That's why you apply it BEFORE finishing your make up." Another noted, "Do we think Amber Heard realises how much she f**ked up with the makeup tutorial? Not only did she call a supposed colour correcting kit a bruise kit - she also gave us a tutorial on how to apply a fake bruise."
