Johnny Depp's attorney Adam Waldman claimed that the video recorded by Marilyn Manson "demolished" Amber Heard's allegations that Depp abused her. Waldman, who has worked on and off on Depp's legal team since October 2016, testified in court via a video deposition recorded back in February.

Waldman has previously called Heard's abuse allegations "fake" and "a hoax" and was also banned from Twitter for violating its privacy policy. He stated that he has "seen things that show [Heard's] statements to be false" and that the pictures and videos Manson sent him help disprove Heard's accusations. "As to that incident – Thanksgiving, perhaps 2013 – I think those videos and photographs demolished her claim," said Waldman.

Heard has alleged that Depp abused her on May 21, 2016. Waldman cited several witnesses who testified that they had not seen injuries on Heard's face between May 21, and May 27, 2016. Waldman has previously accused Heard of faking the scene of abuse that night and called it "an ambush, a hoax." As per Independent, Waldman's comments are the focus of Heard's counterclaim in the defamation trial, as it was initially filed over his comments.

According to the portal, Waldman was referring to a video from Thanksgiving 2015 that was played during Depp's UK libel case against The Sun. The court was reportedly shown footage of Manson, Heard's father David, and Depp's son Jack joking around at the gathering in Los Angeles.

Heard countersued Depp for $100 million after he sued her for $50 million over the Washington op-ed she wrote claiming to be a domestic abuse victim. Depp's lawsuit states, "The op-ed depended on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her." He says the accusations ruined his career.

Meanwhile, Waldman's testimony was greeted with avid praise on Twitter. One user tweeted, "It was him. It has always been him. Without #AdamWaldman none of this would have happened. This man deserves our RESPECT. He has MINE!!!!! #WeLoveYouAdamWaldman." Another said, "I accept the instruction. Not all heroes wear capes. GIVE ADAM WALDMAN BACK HIS TWITTER ACCOUNT AND LET JOHNNY DEPP HAVE HIS OWN ACCOUNT TOO. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp #adamwaldman #DeppvHeard #IStandWithJohnnyDepp."

A third user wrote, "Adam Waldman is someone Amber Heard underestimated. He's not physically intimidating. He looks like a nice guy and sounds disarming. And yet he managed to out one of the biggest abuse hoaxes EVER." A fourth added, "Amazing witness!! [x2 clapping emojis]. Adam Waldman says: 'There is concrete evidence that Amber Heard lied about being abused. No one can deny that here.' #JusticeForJohnnyDepp #JohnnyDepptrial #JohnnyDeppAmberHeardTrial #JohnnyDeppVsAmberHeard."

One user felt, "I want all of Johnny's witnesses and Adam Waldman in my life. They all seem so nice and funny and witty and smart." Another mused, "Amber Heard's team called Adam Waldman to try and pin his press statements on Johnny Depp; instead they got to read those statements to the jury, a list of people who saw Heard uninjured, and Waldman informing the jury that Heard is under perjury investigation. OOF [laughing emoji]."
