One of the most popular shows on streaming platforms is coming to an end and fans are feeling really emotional to bid adieu to their favorite characters. We are obviously talking about the Apple TV+ show ‘Dickinson’. The first two seasons of the show received rave reviews from the critics as well as audiences and the makers would be hoping to get a rousing reception for the final season too.

It is one of those shows that brought Apple TV+ on the map. With this and shows like ‘Ted Lasso’, ‘The Morning Show’ and ‘See’, the streaming platform made a stellar entry in the world of streaming platforms.

Hailee Steinfeld as Emily Dickinson

Touted as the next big thing in Hollywood, Hailee Steinfeld has undoubtedly made a superb entry in the industry with some really solid acting performances. She began her acting career at the age of 10 and appeared in several short movies. Her first major role came at the age of 13 when she was chosen to play the role of Mattie Ross in the movie ‘True Grit’, alongside Jeff Bridges. The actress was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Apart from being an actor, she also went ahead and became a part of the music world. Her first single ‘Love Myself’ turned out to be a huge hit and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry. In 2016, her song ‘Starving’ reached number 5 on Billboard charts. She also continued acting and received success there as well with movies like ‘The Edge of Seventeen’ and ‘Bumblebee’. She will be next seen in the Marvel TV series ‘Hawkeye’ alongside Jeremy Renner. 



 

Toby Huss as Edward Dickinson

Born on December 9, 1965, Toby Huss began his acting career by appearing on several promos for MTV. He made his acting debut with a short movie and a variety of low-budget independent films. In 1995, he had a cameo appearance in the movie ‘The Basketball Diaries’ and starred opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg. One of his first major roles came in 1996 with the movie ‘Jerry McGuire’, which starred Tom Cruise, Renee Zellweger, and Cuba Gooding Jr. in pivotal roles.

However, he gained a lot of recognition while appearing on the TV show ‘King of the Hill. He used to voice several characters on the animated show and made him an instant star. Since then, he has been a part of various projects such as ‘Balls of Fury’, ‘Cowboys & Aliens’, ‘Nikki’, ‘The Office’, ’30 Rock’, ‘Shameless’, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and ‘GLOW’. 



 

Anna Baryshnikov as Lavinia “Vinnie” Dickinson

Baryshnikov is relatively new in Hollywood, but she has been acting since the age of 6. She was a part of a children’s theatre group and went on to act in the theatre production of ‘A Midnight Summer’s Dream’. Her first major acting role came in 2015 with the TV series ‘The Mysteries of Laura’. Later that year, she appeared on the HBO series ‘Doll & Em’. Baryshnikov's most prominent role to date was in the 2016 critically acclaimed drama ‘Manchester by the Sea’, alongside Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams.



 

Ella Hunt as Sue Gilbert

The English started acting at a very young age and made her film debut in 2011 with the movie ‘Intruders’ alongside Clive Owen and Carice Van Houten. Hunt also had a cameo role in the Oscar-nominated 2012 film ‘Les Miserables’. However, she gained a lot of recognition for her acting in ‘Anna and the Apocalypse’, for which she earned a Scottish BAFTA nomination in 2018.

She is also a musician and came out with her debut single ‘Magpie’ last year.



 

Amanda Warren as Betty

Born on July 17, 1982, Warren has been a part of the industry for the last 14 years. She had her first acting role in the TV series ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ and went on to have guest roles in shows like ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘Gossip Girl’. In 2011, she made her feature film debut with ‘The Adjustment Bureau’. Next year, Warren had a supporting role in ‘Seven Psychopaths’ opposite Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Walken.

Since then, she has featured on projects such as ‘Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri’, ‘Mother!’, ‘This is Us’, ‘House of Cards’, and ‘The Purge’.



 

Other cast details

The rest of the ‘Dickinson’ cast includes Wiz Khalifa as Death. Meanwhile, Billy Eichner and Sylvia Plath will be seen in Season 3 in guest roles.

The first three episodes of ‘Dickinson’ Season 3 will premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ on November 5.
