Spoilers for 'Devs' Episode 7

FX's hit sci-fi thriller is one step away from its dramatic ending. In its pre-finale episode, the show took us through various turns of events and proved that the Devs program could finally do what it was built for — predicting the near future.

While some fans had a "feeling" of what could come in Episode 7, others didn't. Either way, we couldn’t possible predict what they could think of this intense episode. So, here’s what fans have been talking about.

For context, Lyndon meets Katie (which she obviously knows about from Devs prediction) and tries to explain his theory of why and how the program could possibly have loopholes.

Lyndon’s key agenda was to make Katie talk to Forest and get him back on the job as a programmer. But Katie, of course, knows that and tries to convince Lyndon about the predictability and how it correlates to his very theory.

Following the prediction, Lyndon stands and falls from the top of a dam and fans think Katie is inhuman for letting that happen. A fan on Twitter commented, "What the F***! #Devs came out swinging tonight, Katie is a straight up savage #FX #FXonHulu."

Another user shared how he felt about what could happen in Episode 7, perhaps from how they have explained about Devs. "I had a feeling that it would end this way. Katie has no feelings about the outcome. She knew it would end this way. #Devs #DevsFX."

And some people, like this fan, had simply anticipated something ominous coming up. "I had a feeling that something bad was found to happen. #DevsFX #devs."

Katie's (Alison Pill) character might have been designed to be cold, emotionless, and highly calculative, it achieved so much appreciation thanks to its actor, Alison Pill. As this fan appreciated, "#DEVS is so good, and Alison Pill is killing it," and we couldn't agree more.

Although her character gained prominence and started to shine much later in the story, she nailed every bit of her frame and screen time, making Katie look like the ultimate antagonist but without any blood on her hands.

'Devs' is available on FX on Hulu every Thursday.
