LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After eight episodes and four murders, the suspenseful tale reaches its climax in Hulu's newest series, 'Death and Other Details'. Making its debut on January 16, 2024, the series engrossed us with the murder of Keithe Trubistsky.

The storyline took a twisted turn with the subsequent deaths of Alexandra Hochenberg (Tamberla Perry), Llewellyn Mathers (Jere Burns), and Katherine Colliers (Jayne Atkinson).

The suspense finally lifts as our protagonist, Imogene Scott (Violett Beane), unravels the mystery through her keen observations and sharp intellect.

Previously, in 'Death and Other Details', we discovered that although Llewellyn Mathers jumped from the ship, there was more to his suicide.

Teddy Goh (Angela Zhou) remembered her final conversation with Llewellyn, during which he explicitly said that he would never take his own life.

Upon revisiting their last interactions and conducting some investigation, Teddy deduced that Llewellyn was poisoned. She uncovered a syringe puncture alongside the corkscrew mark on Mathers' wine bottle, stored among other opened bottles in the closet.

While it became evident that someone orchestrated his death, the reason behind his decision to jump off the ship remained a mystery.

In Episode 8, Imogene and Scott concluded that Katherine Collier poisoned both Llewellyn and Alexandra. However, Katherine's subsequent death removes her from the suspect list.

Fortunately, all our questions are answered in Episode 9 of 'Death and Other Details'

In Episode 9, Imogene Scott finally connects all the pieces of the puzzle and unravels the enduring mystery. She discovers that Agent Hilde Eriksen (Linda Emond) is, in fact, Victor Sams, the mastermind behind all the killings on the ship.

Recall an earlier episode where Hilde accepted Llewellyn's invitation for a night of intimate fun. During their kinky encounter, she subjected him to torment and revealed that she had poisoned him. She further emphasized that he will suffer and will eventually die like Alexandra.

As Llewellyn grapples with the bizarre turn of events, Hilde discloses her true identity. She prompted him to look at her closely and imagine her with blue eyes. This revelation shocked Llewellyn, as he realized she was Kira Scott, who apparently didn't die in the car bombing years ago.

Overwhelmed with sadness and guilt, Llewellyn realized he could not save himself and opted to jump off the ship after mentioning that "Kira Scott deserved better."

'Death and Other Details' is now streaming on Hulu.
