'Dare Me' Episode 8: Addy and Beth's intimate kiss has left fans fuming as he gave away the Hamsa bracelet

Spoiler alert for 'Dare Me' Episode 8
This episode titled 'Containment' brought to life the heated sparks that fans speculated most definitely existed between Addy (Herizen Guardiola) and Beth (Marlo Kelly).
As Beth reels from emotional struggles at home with parents that are too involved in their bitter lives, she also had to deal with her "lover" Addy's increased fascination with coach Colette French (Willa Fitzgerald). This episode revealed the dead body of Colette's boyfriend, Sarge Will Mosley (Zach Roerig) in a pool of blood. When she decides to call Addy, a highschool student to the crime scene, she withdrew all her expectations for respect from fans.
While that was the talk of the show, we were also taken back to a time where Beth and Addy only had eyes for each other. A tight knitted bond was furiously pulled apart when Addy realized that getting out of Sutton Grove with a title better than "bottom b****" meant she had to coax up to the coach and leave Beth's dramatic antics behind. This episode saw a sad reality when Addy is presented with a dead body of a man who's a relationship with the coach she had kept as a secret.
The main topic of conversation happens to be a Hamsa bracelet that Beth had given Addy - a sign of willful protection. Addy in all her clueless glory gave that bracelet to Colette, devastating Beth when she notices. While fans empathized with Beth as she continued to witness her best friend stray away from her into the arms of a master manipulator, they were furious with Addy when the episode revealed what happened before Beth gifted Addy the bracelet.
Support poured in for Beth as her unraveling in the previous episodes almost seems justified because of the things that have happened to her. "I just want Beth to be happy she deserves it :( I wanna put her in a little pot and keep her safe. Addy better get her shiii straight and get the bracelet back from the coach smh #DareMeTV #DareMe." tweeted a fan demanding Addy act like a best friend.
All assumptions that Beth and Addy share more than a friendship were confirmed when we are shown the pair's intimate kiss back in the day. The kiss that ended with the bracelet exchanged showcase how the bond the duo shares is that of cherished intimacy. "Learning that’s how addy got the hamsa bracelet makes it so much worse that she gave it to coach #dareme," tweeted a fan.
Is Addy being punished for not heading to Beth's warning? Fans were surprised at the audacity Addy had to give away a bracelet that meant so much to Beth. What does this mean for their relationship? Some fans took the intimate kiss and a straight-up confession that Addy seems to be missing, "Beth's not mad at you Addy, she's in love with you. Or, to be more accurate, she's mad at you BECAUSE she's in love with you. #DareMe," tweeted a fan.
"Not the kiss I was expecting tonight, but happy to see it, and Addy was the one that went in first. How was I so wrong thinking that it was mostly one-sided on Beth's part when Addy was the initiator? THIS SHOW JUST GETS MORE COMPLICATED! #DareMe," tweeted a fan.
For now though, as it should be, we are all team Beth, because her love for Addy must be protected at all costs right? "I have decided that I will no longer look in Colette's eyes when she is on screen because she only speaks lies, is a master manipulator, knew way too much about cleaning up a crime scene, and has zero boundaries with her teenage students. RISE, BETH, RISE! #DareMe," tweeted another frustrated fan.
'Dare Me' airs on Sundays at 10 pm EST on the USA Network.
