'Crisis on Infinite Earths': Here are the characters set to make an appearance in the mega crossover event

While the Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Batwoman are confirmed heroes, we made a list of the DC legends and other Arrowverse heroes set to battle alongside them against the Anti-Monitor.
UPDATED OCT 2, 2019

The CW's 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' will be the biggest crossover the network will be dishing out. It will also be the biggest TV event in recent times, and with the ending of 'Arrow, the battle promises to be a magnum opus. In addition to the Arrowverse heroes, we'll also be seeing DC legends suit up to battle the Anti-Monitor. With 'Supergirl' and 'Batwoman' set to start a few days from now, we thought of putting a list of all characters slated to appear in 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'.  The mega-event will run for five episodes over December 2019 and January 2020, featuring episodes from 'Arrow', 'The Flash', 'DC’s Legends of Tomorrow', 'Supergirl', and 'Batwoman'.

Team Arrow, Team Flash, and Team Supergirl.

At this stage, it is safe to assume Team Arrow will make an appearance alongside the Green Arrow.  Spartan (David Ramsey), Black Canary (Juliana Harkavy) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) have been left to defend Star City in Green Arrow's absence. The battle may just see them reunite with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and save the world from the grave threat.

With Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) set to vanish in during the 'Crisis; it's a no-brainer if the team stands by and tries their best to ensure the Scarlet Speedster comes back alive and kicking. Plus, this is the biggest fight of their lives and with a few of them having superpowers, they would most likely chip in and play their part. While individual cast members of any of these teams haven't been confirmed, we can expect the series regulars to make an appearance of sorts.

The Three Supermen

The man is a legend and it's pleasing that the CW will be bringing in Supermen from different timelines. First up, we have Tyler Hoechlin, the 'Supergirl's Man of Steel. Brandon Routh will be donning the Kingdom Come Superman role while Tom Welling will make a comeback as the Smallville version of Clark Kent, aka Superman. We don't know which of these gods will make it out alive by the end of the 'Crisis', but it will be an epic moment to see them all fight alongside each other.

The Monitor and The Anti-Monitor

La Monica Garrett will be essaying both the roles. He first made an appearance in the 'Elseworlds' crossover as a villainous entity, but since then it has become obvious the cosmic entity is testing the heroes and villains so as to seek their help from his mission — saving the multiverse from being totally obliterated.  The Anti-Monitor will be who the heroes will face-off against. The Anti-Monitor is set to unleash a wave of anti-matter energy that consumes and destroys the multiverse. It will be up to the superheroes to put an end to him once and for all.

Black Lightning

'Black Lightning' star Cress Williams will appear in the 'Crisis'. At the moment, it is still unconfirmed how big a role he'll play in the mega battle. It is also unclear he will be joined by other cast members from the show.

Burt Ward and Kevin Conroy's Batman

Kevin Conroy in Batman: The Animated Series (IMDb)

Kevin Conroy has spent substantial time (three decades to be precise) voicing Batman in series like 'Batman: The Animated Series and games like Batman: Arkham Asylum',  The voice actor gets a chance to play an older version of Bruce Wayne from a different earth, Perhaps, the old Wayne from 'Batman Beyond.'  Burt Ward was the Robin of the '60s. It is still unclear what role he plays or maybe its just a cameo.

Legends of Tomorrow

The time-traveling superheroes will play their part in the 'Crisis'. White Canary (Caity Lotz) and The Atom (Brandon Routh) are set to play pivotal roles and this series will also serve as a chance for the White Canary and Arrow to team up.

Pariah

Tom Cavanagh has played different versions of Doctor Harrison Wells in 'The Flash' since inception and this time, in addition to new Wells, he'll also be playing Pariah. The arrogant scientist was responsible for accidentally freeing the Anti-Monitor and allowing him to go on his destructive path across the multiverse. Along the way, he was transported from Earth to Earth, landing on one just before it was destroyed and forced to watch it crumble. His immortality is pretty much a bane here.

Earth-90 Flash: John Wesley Shipp

John Wesley Shipp, Stephen Amell, Melissa Benoist, and Grant Gustin in The Flash (IMDb)

Last we saw, his character was not killed off 'Elseworlds' and the man will make in appearance to assist Barry and Co. again in 'Crisis on Infinite Earths.' Maybe he might take Barry's place and vanish, ensuring that the young hero wouldn't be the one to die.

What are your thoughts on these heroes making an appearance in 'Crisis'?
