June Lenker's son, Jacob, was brought to the police station after drugs were discovered in his bag. Contrary to Lenker's initial suspicions of Daniel Hagerty framing Jacob, it was later revealed that Hagerty was not involved.

Despite their ongoing conflicts, Hagerty surprised Lener by offering to remove Jacob's DNA from the police records.

While this wasn't them miraculously becoming friends, the incident sparked a realization in Lenker that Hagerty might possess the capability to assist her. This unexpected turn of events hints at the possibility that this collaboration between the two might just be the beginning.

While Lenker and Hagerty don't align on most things, could they be seen working together in the second half of 'Criminal Record'?

What's next for June Lenker and Daniel Hagerty?

The first five episodes of 'Criminal Record' have concluded showcasing confrontations between June Lenker versus Daniel Hagerty, while a deep friendship might not be on the horizon for them in 'Criminal Record,' there most certainly will be a point where their interests meet or even a potential change in heart as the plot unfolds.

In 'Criminal Record,' Episode 5 has demonstrated that Hagerty is not a one-dimensional character.

On the other hand, Lenker is more than set on the pursuit to bring justice against the systemic racism and police corruption faced by Errol Matthis. Is it almost time for Hagerty to have a change of heart and meet Lenker in the middle? Only time will unveil whether this plot becomes a reality.
