Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his altercation with a female fan during their game against Atlanta Hawks on Monday continues to make the news. James came under harsh criticism on Twitter with some labeling him a 'misogynist and racist'. Juliana Carlos aka 'courtside Karen' who garnered major attention on social media after her spat with James, released a video on Instagram where she allegedly accused the player of calling her a 'f*****g b***h."

"So I am minding my own business, and Chris has been a Hawks fan forever," Juliana said in the clip. He's been watching Hawks games for ten years whatever... he has this issue with LeBron, I don't have an issue with LeBron, and I don't give a fuck about LeBron. Anyway, I am minding my own business, drinking my (beeps) and having fun...all of a sudden, LeBron says something to my husband. And I see this, and I get up and say, "Don't fucking talk to my husband, and he goes..."Sit the fuck down bitch."

While Juliana and her husband Chris were evicted from the game, her comments caused quite the stir. "Lebron is a bitch, a misogynist, and a racist," slammed a user on Twitter. This was seconded by multiple comments along the same lines. "My 7-month-old lesbian daughter who aspires to be a softball pitcher for the University of Oklahoma someday just asked me, "Daddy, why is LeBron James a misogynist?" I had no answer," read another.

"I thought being mean to women automatically made someone a misogynist? But y’all praising LeBron for calling a female a “dumb bitch," one of the fans opined.

However, a certain segment of fans came to the star's rescue. "I don't follow basketball, but lemme see if I got this straight: Geezer heckles LeBron James Geezer's trophy wife heckles LeBron James LeBron James calls people specifically trying to make him mad names LeBron James is a misogynist I'm just checking my notes here," read one of the tweets.  "So Lebron is a misogynist now? I really wish yall knew then meaning of these words you throw around," one of them remarked.

"Painting Lebron as a woman-hater and misogynist based on calling an unruly woman a "bitch" seems tenuous to me. Almost as funny as "feminist" Swift getting pissed off at Kanye for calling her a bitch, but not at his persistently misogynistic lyrics objectifying the female part," read one of the comments. Sarcasm wasn't far off. "There we have it guys. Lebron is a misogynist. Poor treatment of women. Time to cancel him."

Soon after the game, LeBron, on his part said fans coming back to the stadium was good news. "I missed that interaction,” he said. “I need that interaction. We as players need that interaction. I don’t think it was warranted to be kicked out.” He later tweeted, "Courtside Karen was MAD MAD!!"
