'Courtside Karen' aka Juliana Carlos has issued a formal apology, but social media isn't letting this one pass. The 25-year-old took to Instagram, saying she was sorry after heckling LeBron James during the Los Angeles Lakers vs Atlanta Hawks game on Monday, February 1. The altercation saw her remove her mask and reportedly hurl abuses at the NBA star and even went on to narrate her version of the story after the game on Instagram. The Hawks supporter was a viral sensation on Monday and at the time of writing, still continues to trend on social media.

Soon after the incident, the Hawks conducted an investigation and said they would not be banning the four fans who were ejected from courtside seats for future games. ESPN's Dave McMenamin tweeted out the verdict. The incident occurred in the fourth quarter of the game, prompting officials to halt play for some time and call security. Juliana was mincing no words as she was vocal and also appeared to give James a middle-finger salute upon her ejection.

They just happened to give us the shortest month of the year.” stay woke."
