BORN UNDER A BAD SIGN: ONE IN FIVE Americans abstain from sex at certain months to 'plan' baby's zodiac
We have heard of how non-compatible zodiac signs can plague the lives of couples trying to have a child. The latest buzz is that some couples avoid having sex at certain times of the year to ensure their babies aren't born under so-called 'bad' zodiac signs. These couples have even taken to social media to discuss the pros and cons of abstaining from sex to avoid a potentially bad star sign. One user on Reddit said that her husband wasn't really on board with her idea.
She said, "Has anyone tried planning their future children's zodiac based on you and your s/o zodiac? How did that turn out for you? Did you want one thing but the universe knew better and gave you something else? My husband thinks I'm crazy for wanting to plan our next child according to signs so that when we do have another child we can all be compatible. If anyone is interested in helping me decide on when to start making babies lol, I'm a Leo Aug. 6, husband Aries April 18, and son gemini June 16. I know very basic zodiac info and would love more input. I am a big believer in whatevers meant to be, will be but I'm also a meticulous planner."

To her post, one user replied, "I personally did not, but my parents did! Dad is a Gemini, mom is an Aquarius, and they planned me as a Gemini and I was born in the dead center of Gemini. I think it’s a great idea! My parents and I had an incredible relationship. What were you thinking? Another air sign would be interesting as a sibling for your child, or even a Sagittarius!"
Another user said, "That baby gonna choose the soul group she wants no matter what. Who's to say if you chose it? Its the soul that chooses. hahaha. BUT... maybe this soul will choose a mom who know's whats up with astrology. I think you cant have that tight of a grip on fate or destiny but you can and SHOULD pay attention to it!" Another user shared her experience saying, "I tried to do this when we started having kids! Husband is a Leo Aug 12, I’m a Cancer July 6th. First pregnancy would have been twin Scorpios but ended in miscarriage. My current baby will be a Taurus, due within the week :). I want a Leo baby so badly."
Though this practice may seem unnatural, many people do not consider it so. A survey conducted by People revealed that one in five Americans would consider planning a pregnancy around the star sign they would like their child to have.
