LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Conspiracy theorists are alleging the Arkansas plane accident is connected to the toxic Ohio train derailment. The plane crashed soon after takeoff near the Clinton National Airport in Little Rock on Wednesday, February 22, killing five employees of the science consulting company CTEH.

According to the company, the crew members and pilot were traveling in a twin-engine BE20 headed for Ohio's John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The company said that the workers were en route to Bedford, Ohio, where a lethal metal plant explosion occurred earlier this week.

Response services offered by CTEH include "consulting for the public and private sectors in the fields of environmental data gathering and management, GIS, safety, incident management, industrial hygiene, toxicology, and human health," as per the Independent report.

What are the conspiracy theorists saying?

Some outlandish theories that have surfaced online try to find links between the two incidents and the involvement of the UN. CTEH already has people on the ground at the scene of the East Palestine rail disaster, which conspiracy theorists say was planned by the federal government. Some of them believe the rail crash is being used to enable the UN to seize toxic land, while others believe it has to do with a medical ID system that allows the government to monitor citizens, as reported by Daily Dot.

A user on Reddit wrote about the plane crash, "I mean i won’t jump to conclusions, but… i’d be lying if i said my eyebrows didn’t go up a bit." Another added, “Things that make me go hmmm." "All independent environmental toxicity experts heading to Ohio. Hmmm," a third noted.

After a Norfolk Southern freight train hauling toxic chemicals derailed on February 3, a controlled burn of the contents of several railcars allegedly spread the chemicals throughout the town. Public panic followed as state authorities were slow to provide updates. While some locals attempted to record genuine, grave concerns, conspiracy theorists seized the opportunity to peddle unfounded claims.

Now, a medical ID program that was implemented in East Palestine last year is cited as evidence to suggest the government deliberately caused the accident, reports Daily Dot. These are conspiracy theories and no link has been found between the two incidents or the UN. The program, which makes use of the MyID service, enables locals to buy a variety of items, including wristbands, tags, stickers, and wallet cards with distinctive QR codes that store their private medical data. Conspiracy theorists have claimed that the derailment was a part of some sort of evil scheme to persuade local residents to accept the medical ID program despite the fact that it was similar to numerous others, including those provided on smartphones and other wearable technology.

'Agenda 2030'

A user tweeted, "On January 29, 2023 East Palestine is “chosen” as the pilot town for a medical digital ID: MyID works with a QR code to receive medical info. The launch of this new project was ~12 days before the Ohio train derailment."

The claims also gained popularity on the r/conspiracy subreddit, where a huge number of users accused secret societies and the government of being involved. A user wrote, "Manufactured dependence. Cause a massive disaster, so that everyone will look to government for help. They are losing the plot. More people need to realize they need us more than we need them." According to one commenter, the property was intentionally poisoned so that the United Nations could seize it. "AGENDA 2030! Any land deemed toxic can be seized by the government and turned into a 15-minute city,” a now-deleted tweet read. "So now, besides having residents use MyID, this pops up, too. It was all planned!!! They, Norfolk and the Government, are in on it together. Why is Biden not helping? That’s why!"

East Palestine Fire Chief Keith Drabick claimed there is no link between the derailment and the program in an interview with the Daily Dot. “Any relation between the MyID program and the derailment is nothing more than a conspiracy theory,” he stated.
