'Getting out of hand': Mom furious after Chuck E Cheese mascot ignores Black daughter

The caption of the post read: "On July 30 at Chuck E Cheese in Wayne, NJ, my 2yo was racially discriminated against. As you can see, he gives all of the yt kids hi-5s & PURPOSELY ignored my black baby. When confronted, he ignored me as well. The manager, Angie Valasquez, made excuses for him." According to the mother, the management made up excuses for the employee's behavior.
"Saying she’s ‘sorry I feel that way’ but he didn’t see her, even after showing her the PROOF in the video. This is getting out of hand!!!" the mother said.
Saying she’s “sorry I feel that way” but he didn’t see her, even after showing her the PROOF in the video. Please make this go viral like y’all did with that “co-wife” tweet! This is getting out of hand!!!

The mother also tweeted a photograph of the girl and the Chuck E Cheese character smiling for the camera after management kept insisting they take a photograph after apologizing to the mom and informing her that the mascot was really not able to see her little kid.
"I wasn’t for it, but Safa was still innocently following him around — of course, unaware of what just happened. Just for her to take a picture like this. Great job, Safa," the mother wrote in the caption of the picture of her daughter crossing her arms.
Many users concurred that the person wearing the costume may not have noticed the youngster, but one user shared a video of the Chuck E Cheese mascot playing with children who are about the same size as the youngster in question.
The user said: "This video completely says otherwise. This other chuck e. cheese mascot saw that little boy who is probably shorter than her clear as day. "

Other users said that the incident was infuriating and that the child was "deliberately ignored."
This is infuriating. Chuck E Cheese should fire the manager and the employee in the costume.

Of course, she was deliberately ignored. What a silly take that you can’t see toddkers in that costume. Is Chuck E. Cheese out here to please teens and adolescents?

Someone asked the mother if she was taking them to court, to which she replied, "Expeditiously."
This is not the first time something like this has happened. The upsetting video follows an incident during a parade when a costumed Sesame Place character in the Philadelphia area appeared to disregard a 5-year-old Black child. The owner of Sesame Place, SeaWorld Parks, is being sued by her father, Quinton Burns, for prevalent and horrific racial discrimination, asking for $25 million in compensation. Characters at Sesame Place have been seen on camera by other guests behaving in a similar way to Black kids.
