Florida parents let daughter, 4, AMBLE NAKED on street, arrested for child endangerment
A messed-up Florida couple allegedly failed to keep an eye on their 4-year-old daughter, who ambled naked on the street alone. Police in Vero Beach, Florida, claimed they detained Chrystal Slosson, 38, and Michael Allen Slosson, 38, for two counts each of child endangerment.
Describing the condition of Chrystal and Michael’s home, cops said the place was covered in feces, urine, and bugs. When cops interrogated Michael about his place, he allegedly said he knowingly left the home dirty as he was depressed and had lost the will to clean. Meanwhile, Chrystal who tongue-lashed Michael for playing video games instead of keeping an eye on children, said she had a serious knee injury and was not able to clean the place, cops revealed. However, an administrator claimed to have seen Chrystal walking with a pikestaff and in a condition to clean the house if she so desired.

According to the arrest affidavit, an officer responded to an address on 18th Street, when a resident, who first saw the young girl walking naked in front of his home, called law enforcement. Alarming the officer, two construction workers said they witnessed a naked young girl exiting a neighbor's house and heading towards the west. To confirms the workers’ claim, the officers checked Slosson’s residence and Michael opened the door, police said. Slosson allegedly said he put the child – identified in documents as G.E.S.— to bed at midnight.
The couple has two children, whose current whereabouts was not clarified.
On Chrystal’s first encounter with the officials, she allegedly said she was in her bedroom when the child escaped, and she did not hear any noise when her daughter exited the house through the window. Chrystal also told the officer about having insomnia, according to the affidavit.
“Upon further investigation, on the north side of the house I observed a window open with the screen off,” police wrote in their report. “The room, which can be observed from outside of the residence, had an odor of feces and I also observed feces smeared onto the walls of the bedroom with miscellaneous trash on the ground deeming it unfit and unsafe for a child.”
The arrest affidavit further noted that a local DCF area supervisor told cops the couple have been investigated 5 times since 2015. “Living flies and other bugs were observed in all parts of the residence,” the officer wrote, describing a walkthrough with a DCF investigator that happened the day after the incident.
“The residence possessed a distinct odor of urine and feces that was almost overpowering in some parts of the residence. Within the children’s bedroom, I also observed fecal matter smeared and dried approximately three-quarters the way up the bedroom door and parts of the walls. I also observed a large number of feces on the ground within the bedroom.”
However, Michael posted bond, online records show, while Chrystal is still in jail on a $10,000 bond. Neither of them has attorneys of record.
