NBC's hit medical drama 'Chicago Med' returns with a brand new episode which will see one of the doctors forced to make a hard choice. It will be a make or break situation for him and so we are in for a captivating watch.
The official NBC synopsis for Episode 16 reads: 'Halstead helps a patient with long-haul Covid-19 symptoms; Taylor reflects on her dating life when she learns that a patient's daughter is having an arranged marriage; a new family is born out of tragedy.'

As we read from the synopsis 'Chicago Med' will see the ongoing effects of the pandemic that shook the world with Dr Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) taking on another similar case. On the romantic front, we have seen Dr Charles' (Oliver Platt) slow relationship with his therapist and Dr Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains) and Dr Pamela Blake's (Sarah Rafferty) high-speed love unfold with Episode 16 putting in focus Dr Vanessa Taylor's (Asjha Cooper) love life that is non-existent. But the highlight of the episode is Dr Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard) who will be put in a serious dilemma.
The preview shows Scott meeting with his patient from Episode 15 who he suspected of being a drug dealer but later found out otherwise. Towards the end, we find out that she is an undercover cop on assignment who is trying to bust a drug racket. Episode 16 sees a new patient who Scott is treating ask him if he will be okay, but is informed that surgery is the need of the hour. That's when the undercover cop asks Scott to discharge him as he is a dealer who is brokering a meet that night. With him being stuck in the hospital her case will take a big hit.
Dr Scott was a cop himself before so he understand the situation but his duty as a doctor comes first. He tells her straight that he has rules as well which include 'do no harm'. But although he isn't willing to give up his patient, the clip ends with him looking confused and concerned, prompting us to wonder whether he makes the right choice or not.
