'Love Island': Charlie enters finals, upset fans claim 'season was a set up' from start
Ever since Charlie Lynch dumped Cashay Proudfoot for Alana Paolucci on 'Love Island', he has earned a spot in the 'Love Island' fans' black book. Charlie set foot on the popular dating show as one of the five Casa Amor hotties ready to woo the OG girls.
He hit it off with fan-favorite islander Cash almost instantly. Although he knew about Cash's messy love triangle with Melvin 'Cinco' Holland Jr, and her felling for him, Charlie continued to pursue her. He assured Cash that her relationship with Cinco didn't bother him. But immediately after he set foot in the main villa and saw how close Cash and Cinco were, he began feeling very uncomfortable. But Cash was totallly invested in building a connection with Charlie, so she voted out Cinco from the villa to show Charlie that she was really serious about their relationship.

'Love Island': Olivia slammed for saving Charlie from elimination, fans say she is 'no good'
As soon as Cinco left the show, Charlie immediately distanced himself from Cash and began pursuing Alana. At the next recoupling he dumped Cash for Alana, leaving all fans fuming at him. Since then Charlie and Alana managed to cruise through two eliminations without getting the boot. Now they are in the finals, and fans aren't happy about it all. Several fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over Charlie making it to finals and having a shot at winning $100,000 despite how he played Cash.
A fan tweeted, "The fact that Charlie is going to the finale not not Cash and Trina and let's not forget how Kyra and Olivia violated and backstabbed the one girl that was friends with them #LoveIslandUSA." "It’s not sitting right with me how Charlie scammed his way into the villa with Cash and made it to finale night, and Cash is nowhere to be seen. I honestly might have to vote for Jeremy atp #LoveIslandUSA," wrote a fan. "Production controlled this entire season. With the way we were tweeting and voting, Will, Kyra, Olivia, Charlie and Jeremy had no business being in the finale. Will & Kyra or Jeremy & Bailey are going to win. The season was a set up from the beginning #LoveIslandUSA," pointed out a fan.
