TikTok star Charli D'Amelio, 18, went blonde for the day event, where she joined sister Dixie D’Amelio and boyfriend Landon Barker at the festivities during the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival. With nearly 150 million followers, Charli D’Amelio is one of TikTok’s most prominent content creators, who reigned as the site’s most-followed personality for years before being dethroned by Khaby Lame in 2022.

No doubt she still is the queen of social media. Recently she made a major change to her dark brown hair at Coachella but fans don't seem happy for her latest fashion statement, with some accusing her of “copying” her big sister, Dixie.

What’s D'Amelio's new hairstyle?

Charli has remained fairly consistent with her style, always boasting dark, brown hair that she’s worn both long and shoulder length. However, on April 16, Charli posted a series of photos to Instagram showing that she had chopped off her dark locks in favor of a bright blonde bob. A user on Twitter shared her picture at the event. She wrote, "BLONDE CHARLI". She posed wearing a two-piece black outfit at Coachella, showing off a different side to one of TikTok’s favorite influencers that fans hadn’t seen before.

'Copied her sister again'

Charli's post is filled with comments from disgruntled fans upset at her latest fashion risk, with some even accusing the TikToker of copying her older sister, Dixie. A user commented, "People do anything for Coachella". Another user wrote, "Copied her sister again". A third user wrote, "Is that a wig or what?"
